About the event
This summer, the NCCIL brings E. H. Shepard's original illustrations of Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood to life in an immersive and hands on museum experience. Through a partnership with Abilene Christian University's Theatre Department and designer Eric Pitney's company Abilene Scenic Works, the NCCIL Gallery will transform to host a memorable literary experience that is free to families all summer long, complete with a crawlable Rabbit's hole, walkable Pooh's House, climbable tree and bridge, storybook stage, and more.
The exhibit opens June 11th at 3PM and closes on September 12, 2026.
Sponsors will have the chance to put their name or business on an element of their choice, which will be promoted and honored all summer long. Support our mission to inspire children to read and be creative, one memory at a time!
Sponsors at the $500+ level will receive a free Picnic with Pooh…
