Art Materials needed:

Card stock-approx. 6”X9” to look like a cover from a book (I used old book covers but card stock will work)

Gold tape- cut into strips just over the length of the book cover

Circle pattern cut out of card stock

Acrylic paint-green, yellow, red, brown

Paint brush- medium size or whatever you have on hand

Sponge pieces

Art Materials Needed:

Watercolor paper 

Liquid watercolor paint, diluted with water (blue and green)

Art Materials Needed: 

Ocean blue construction paper – one per child (8 ½ x 11) 

White memo paper – one per child (4 x 5 ½) 

Paper  with words from old books or magazines – one per child (4 x5 or smaller) 

Black construction paper – one per child (4 x 5 ½) 

Ocean life patterns cut out of card stock – 4-6 per bag 

Glue sticks 

Scissors
