Art Camps -- Summer 2008
We encourage children to spend time in our art studio putting their creative brains to work! NCCIL Art Camps are a premium educational experience for budding artists of all ages. All camps are $80 ($60 for museum members). Art supplies and daily snacks are included.
Hodgepodge Collage
This exclusive camp experience will bring new meaning to the word collage! Students will manipulate materials into amazing collage pieces using a variety of papers, found objects, and stamping.
When: June 9-13
Ages 5 to 7: 9:00 AM -- 12:00 PM
Ages 8 to 11: 1:00 PM -- 4:00 PM
3-D Delight
The NCCIL proudly presents a brand new art camp! Sculpt it, mold it, tweak it -- students will be initiated into everything 3-D. Have a blast with clay, papier-mache, and paper-making!
When: June 23-27
Ages 5 to 7: 9:00 AM -- 12:00 PM
Ages 8 to 11: 1:00 PM -- 4:00 PM
Picasso-Rama!
Fill your world with color! In this camp, experiment with different paint media such as tempera, watercolor, acrylic, and more. Learn new techniques while creating masterpieces to take home!
When: July 14-18
Ages 5 to 7: 9:00 AM -- 12:00 PM
Ages 8 to 11: 1:00 PM -- 4:00 PM
