“Make your own Dumpy La Rue!”
Based on Dumpy La Rue (The pig who knew what he wanted to do…and that was to dance!)
Materials:
Pink paper for Dumpy La Rue, scissors, glue, crayons or markers, construction paper for background)
Instructions:
Cut a medium-sized oval for Dumpy’s body and a smaller circle for Dumpy’s head. Cut two triangles for ears, a smaller circle for his nose, a curly tail and four small rectangles for legs. Cut a small “V” out of the bottom of each rectangle for his hooves. Glue Dumpy to the paper. He can be standing on his hind legs or standing on all 4 feet. Draw dots for his eyes and nostrils. You may draw a barn, fences, other animals, trees, or whatever you would like to add to Dumpy’s barnyard ballet!
